Lillianna Joy's Story

Short Version

Lillianna Kempson is an aspiring novelist, lover of all small children, and self-ascribed dance-baker. A love for exotic places led her to dive into the black hole of stories, where you can currently find her, hiding away with a book and some oreos.

Her mission is to shine the light of a Savior into the darkest recesses of this world with her words, believing that when all else fails, music, a mess, and a whole lot of Jesus can be the difference this world is calling for.

Long Version

Lillianna's love for reading goes back to her very first moments in this world, when her mother devotedly spent hours on end reading her books, so much in fact that she had most of them memorized. This bloomed into an avid love for reading, with days and weeks lost in fantasy worlds with characters that could do anything.

By the time Lillianna was in Junior High, with exceptional grades in creative and academic writing, books had started to continually frustrate her. So she decided to write her own with the wild notion that she could "do much better."

Now, with a little bit more experience and a whole lot more humility, she is head-over-heels in love with her characters, hoping to use her words and worlds to encourage and motivate other teenagers and aspiring young writers.

You can currently find enrolled in the school of her dreams, The Author Conservatory, eating oreos and chocolate by the pound, and bouncing babies on her hip or running around with toddlers.

And every day she strives to become a little more like her Savior, love one more little child, and make just one more person laugh.
