A Guidepost To Other Posts

So... this week, instead of the long, a little bit crazy ramble of last week's post, I'm just going to be referring you guys over to THIS post!

A post that was outlined by me, critiqued, and perfected by numerous professionals, and all in all had a lot more work and time put into it than my usual blog posts.

A post that talks about character arcs and motivation, something I recently have referenced in a lot of posts like The Fire That Fuels Our Writing... And Our Lives, and The Can In Change, to name a few. Actually, I talk about motivations and our whys a lot, and this post really goes into a lot of depth, as well as has a pretty awesome freebie at the end (that I may or may not have designed myself ;)

It also has a lot of Marvel lore and fangirling - because Wanda may or may not be my favorite character... ever.

And, it's just a really helpful topic for writers as we get to know our characters and realize, as I always say, that our stories hinge on our characters.

People are always, and have always been, the most important. Nothing trumps people - and as we go through our days, we need to remember that. We need to remember that the people around us are who God has called us to love.

The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and the second is love your neighbor as yourself.

God didn't call us to work or make a lot of money or become famous - He called us to love.

So if nothing else, let this be a reminder to look up, and love the people around you.

And, if you still want something more to read, but don't want to read about Wanda Maximov, Marvel, and character arcs - which I can't understand at all, but still XD you can read this post on choosing time, over finding time.

Maybe you're struggling with finding joy and something to be thankful in this January, and you want to read this post about perspective - or this post about perspective, which is also a book review!

And if you still want to read something but don't know what to read... just scroll through my posts - I'm sure you'll find something haha

Just remember that this life is not our own, we are not here for us - we're here for Him, and His children that He has placed around us. Love a little today - live the adventure that God has planned for you!

Also - speaking about planning, I know I say not to have a plan and to let God have control, BUT if you're in need of a new calendar with writing prompts or motivational quotes from How To Win Friends And Influence People, or are looking for a monthly gratitude planner with scripture verses, check out some of the new designs on my Etsy shop!

I have been having such a blast creating these, and hope to have some more out every week! I'm also in the middle of finally actually writing Dyed Blue, hence the shorter post this week - and, if you're wondering, it's going amazingly.

I also would like to say that there are going to be some epic blog posts coming up, including interviews with some Indie published authors that I can not WAIT to share with you all!

But anyway, praying for you all, God bless, and don't forget to pick your head up and love someone this week.

And don't forget that He loves you too.
